Our core principle
Your data is yours. We don't spy on you, sell your data, or track your usage.
Your photos, files, and passwords live on hardware you own, in your home, under your control.
What we collect (very little)
Customer information
What: Name, address, email, phone. Why: To deliver hardware, provide support, send invoices. Who sees it: Only the people at logout.cloud who need it for your service.
Billing information
What: Payment method, billing address, invoices. Why: To charge you for what you ordered. Who sees it: Us and our payment processor. We don't store full card numbers.
Service information
What: Setup details, support emails, system specs. Why: To give you better support.
Technical info — only when you share it
What: System logs and error reports, only when you send them to us. Why: To troubleshoot your issue.
That's it. That's all we collect.
What we don't collect
We explicitly do not collect, access, or see:
- Photos, videos, or documents on your box
- Emails or messages
- Browsing history
- What apps you use, or media you watch
- Smart-home sensor data
- Location or biometric data
- Your contacts or calendar
- Network traffic or usage patterns
Your box doesn't report back to us. We don't track or monitor you.
Who we share with
Limited sharing, only when necessary
- Payment processor — billing info only
- Shipping carrier — name, address, phone, for delivery
- Legal requirements — the minimum necessary; we notify you when allowed
We never share with
- Advertisers or marketing companies
- Data brokers
- Social media platforms
- Analytics companies
- Anyone else, for any reason
We don't sell your data. Period.
Your rights
- Access — get a copy of what we hold about you, anytime
- Correction — fix your information
- Deletion — delete your account and data
- Objection — opt out of non-essential email

Data retention
Active customers: account info kept while you're a customer; billing records kept 7 years (tax law).
Former customers: account info kept 1 year, billing 7 years, then permanently deleted.
Cookies & tracking
This website: no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics pixels.
Your box: no telemetry, no usage tracking, no analytics from us. If you subscribe to Connected, your box checks for signed software updates — that check is the box fetching updates, not us watching you.
Third-party apps
Your box runs open-source apps (Immich, Nextcloud, Jellyfin, and others). Each has its own license. We set them up; you decide what data goes into them. None of them report to us.
If there's ever a breach
If data we hold about you is ever breached, we will notify you within 72 hours, explain what happened, describe our response, and tell you what to do next.
The bottom line
Your data is on your box, in your home, under your control. We collect only what's needed to ship, bill, and support. We don't monitor, track, or sell. You are not the product.
